Randy Reimer

Randy Reimer is a founding partner of the CPA firm Reimer, McGuinness & Associates, P.C. Randy is a native Texan, and received his accounting degree from Sam Houston State University and has been licensed as a certified public accountant since 1985. Mr. Reimer has worked in public accounting since 1982, for large local firms and for one of the “Big 8” firms – KPMG.

Randy has also completed the coursework at Rice University, Glasscock School of Continuing Studies, and received a certificate for the Certified Financial Planner®, Certification Education Program. Mr. Reimer also has completed all the requirements of the Certified Financial Planner Board of Standards, Inc., to use the CFP® designation.

As a partner, Mr. Reimer works primarily with individuals, companies and their owners, as well as non-profit organizations. Services provided to individuals include tax and financial planning. He also works with companies by overseeing and coordinating work in the tax, accounting and audit area. Some of the services include monthly accounting, tax planning and consulting, business/management consulting, mergers and acquisitions, succession planning, litigation support, and the preparation of audited and reviewed financial statements.

The corporate clients that Mr. Reimer serves come from a wide variety of industries including, professional service providers, medical, manufacturing, distributors, food service, telecommunications, home builders, construction contractors, oil and gas, and others.

Randy loves to work with nonprofit organizations and has worked in the public sector his entire career. Working with nonprofits is something that is very connected to Randy's desire to help people and help his clients. Randy is currently on the board of Combat Marine Outdoors an organization that seeks to rehabilitate wounded warriors with outdoor activities like hunting and fishing.
